Two years ago Andrews turned 70. To celebrate this landmark, we decided to give something back. We decided to add to our long heritage of charitable giving by kicking off our latest initiative.
The idea was huge. We made a commitment for at least the next 50 years. We are working in partnership with charities such as CAYSH and 1625 Independent People to support young people in need of housing. In doing so, we’re committed to providing 50 properties over the next 50 years, where young people can live and benefit from our ongoing support and maintenance.
So far, it couldn’t be going better. We’re ahead of schedule and looking to complete on our fourth property in the first two years. We also have tenants of our existing properties, who are already benefiting from the [establish] network.

As we celebrated our 70th birthday in 2016, we uncovered some fascinating stories about our unique heritage. Find out more about our founder, Cecil Jackson-Cole, and his charitable trusts.
We have a proud heritage that is truly unique. Our founder, Cecil Jackson Cole, not only set up globally renowned charities such as Age UK and Oxfam, but also transformed the way that business and charity work together.
